How do we go about finding the farms we feature?
We heard that it was possible to purchase a “cow share”. So I started to investigate and came across a great farm in New York state that I ordered by first 1/4 cow from them. I loved it and it became my passion.
Do we try the meat out?
We are in the process of trying out every company that we put on the website. We want to make sure that the customer experience is good, the meat is as advertised and everything about the companies.
What do we base our reviews on?
As our previous point illustrates, we are trying to be customers of every farm or retailer that we feature.
Are we compensated by the farms?
We are currently not being compensated by the farms. In the future we will look to get a commission on sales that we initiate. We will be sure to highlight the farms that compensate us
What is our business model?
Right now we are looking to discover more about the direct-to-consumer farm world since that is my retirement plan.
